Tree Planting in Costa Rica

Our Costa Rica team joined over 100 volunteers who partnered with Evolution Free Zone to plant 170 native trees. This event is part of an ongoing community commitment to reinforce habitat for flora and fauna species in the western part of the country.

AVNA Hosts Annual Farmers Market for Employees

We care about the health and wellness of every employee and their families. Each August we invite a local farmer to set up a market at each location and provide each employee with vouchers to shop for locally sourced fresh fruits, vegetables, honey, flowers, breads, and baked goods. This highly popular event not only helps our AVNA families, but also supports our local growers.

CULTURE

AVNA partners with state agencies and education centers to create a skilled talent pipeline of next generation STEM careers to support the growing demand for advanced manufacturing skills to support medtech innovation pipelines. This year we hosted engineering and quality interns from ReadyCT. 

ReadyCT is a statewide 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works to advance academic excellence and career-connected learning for all public school students in Connecticut through collaboration with business, civic, and education leaders. Together, industry leaders and educators can bridge the skills gap by providing hands-on, meaningful experiences that can lead to successful careers.
