Laser Technician – 2nd Shift Berlin
Requirements:
- Proficient reading, writing, and numerical skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be energetic, a problem solver, have a good attitude and a will to learn.
- Able to determine the degree of urgency required with specific requests.
- Ability to understand practical as well as theoretical concepts regarding our products and processes.
- Good computer skills in order to use our software tools.
- Able to identify issues for troubleshooting setups and machine failures, and change machine components as required.
- Must be technical-oriented and appreciate the need of production organizations.
- Perform machine setups/break downs.
- Role model and mentor to Operators. Assists in Training of Operators.
- Support Operators with 1st pc inspections, visual inspections & troubleshooting.
AVNA will properly train the chosen candidate who will ultimately be responsible for duties listed below:
- Setup and breakdowns of laser cutters, laser welders and laser marking equipment.
- Ongoing support of equipment, training, troubleshooting and process improvements.
- Become proficient with inspection equipment and perform In-Process inspections using equipment such as OGP, MicroVu, Microhite, Keyence etc.
- Full understanding of the workings of Laser Workstations, Part Specific Tooling and Fixtures.
- Become a power user in our ERP system (PLEX).
- Understand SPC data trends, identify root causes, first piece inspection requirements, and apply adjustments as required.
- Proficient in Blueprint reading including GD&T
- Mount, Polish, and Etch samples as well as analyze results.
